Our Legacy of Safe Driving Since 1969
In 1969, life looked a lot different than it does today. Cars were built differently, roads were less congested, and the pace of life was slower. However, one thing that has remained constant over the decades is the importance of safe driving and being behind the wheel of a safe vehicle.
Harry’s Driving School was founded in 1969 by Harry Cressler, a military veteran who returned to Deerfield after retiring from service. Recognizing the growing number of vehicles on the road, Harry saw a pressing need for quality driver education in the community. His love for cars and his passion for teaching came together that winter, giving birth to Harry’s Driving School.
A Family Tradition of Excellence
Since its inception, Harry’s Driving School has remained a family-owned and operated local business, deeply rooted in the Dallas community. For generations, we have been dedicated to training safe and confident drivers. When you spot the “STUDENT DRIVER” sticker on one of our iconic VW Beetles cruising through town, you can be sure we’re hard at work shaping the next generation of exceptional drivers.
